Laudun itself is a high place of archaeology.
Up on Le Camp de César (Caesar’s Camp) there is a magnificent panorama of the Rhone Valley, Mont Ventoux and Vercors Mountain.

Walks are waiting to be discovered on the numerous marked footpaths where you can breath in the fragrance of the local “garrigue” vegetation.

  • The Pont du Gard. This monument is the 3rd most visited in France
  • Orange, with its ancient roman theatre and famous lyrical festival in July
  • The Camargue, natural park with wild horses and various kinds of birds

  • The Cévennes Mountains, including the Ardèche Gorges and the Aven d’Orgnac ( an enormous grotto which is part of the worldwide patrimony of UNESCO)

This region of France boasts a wide variety in landscape and scenery, including the sea, mountains, gorges, fruit fields, vineyards and gastronomy. The climate is mild all year around with about 300 days of sunshine.

Laudun is also an ideal stopping place when travelling to Spain or Italy.
